A Tribute to Cristiano Ronaldo!
Cristiano Ronaldo, born as Cristiano Ronaldo dos Santos Aveiro in Funchal, in the Portuguese Azores, is a remarkable man who is considered by many as the World's Greatest Futeboler (Soccer player). He plays on the Portugues National Team and for others as well.
As a youth, he wanted nothing more in life than to be a jogador (player). He sacrificed meals and school time to become the talent he is. Eventually he became noticed and joined his country's national team. His aggressiveness in playing, his deadly aim and powerful kicks earn him the admiration of all including his rivals and team-mates. His strategy is amazing! You only have to watch snippets of his moves to see that!
I am not a dedicated sports fan, but admire ability wherever it is found! I especially like sportsmen who are true to their calling and are decent men as well. Cristiano has a large family that he adores; he is good to them and to his parents as well. He has the decency to stay out of politics, which is smart. After all, he has fans in all places!
Cristiano recently was "found" to have Covid. I doubt it, but the powers that be have sidelined him in important matches, and he pretty upset about it. He looks good and feels normal.
