THE GOOSE RETURNS!
Every Spring brings the same ritual. While the minds of men are often focused on confusion elsewhere, Nature and her calling follows the old time-tested ways. In the Northern Hemisphere, Spring is a time of renewal, a time of love and regeneration. Winter is over and summer not yet here. Robins are often a harbinger of Spring as they sometimes are the first to arrive. When the Geese make their noisy appearance, things get serious. Most pair off for the annual egg-laying and family-raising ritual. But occasionally, there is the Lone Goose, who for whatever reason does not pair off. He (or she) is alone. So.....
.....The Lone Goose "makes tracks" in the still waters. The rippling waters reflect the light and sky as the bird makes its way....
These are God's Creatures, comfortable in their environment, but very leery of approaching humans. Lucky is he who gets close enough to forever capture their serene beauty! Hence, both picture and poetry describe the moment.....

As I went out in the Woods this fine Spring Day...
I was Feelin' so Happy, Lighthearted and Gay....
I spied a Lone Creature a swimmin' the Misty Pond...
Looks to be a Goosie, waving her Magic Wand...
